Startup Monthly Meeting M09: Continue Betting on AI, Officially Start Shopify App Development
Happy National Day, I'm already grinding. Sharing September's startup progress: launched selofy.com, started Shopify App development, upgraded paid community, and more.

Self-Media Content
September brought back the rhythm of intensive content creation. As I've always suggested: "Keep outputting, not just inputting." After 3-4 months of deep practice and development:
- First, launched and published selofy.com
- Second, quickly shared the practical insights from this period while they're fresh
Also started creating pure English self-media content. It's quite difficult—I didn't realize my English was this bad. Recording tutorials in Chinese usually takes one take, but reading English scripts takes hours of stuttering. Actually, if I wanted to, I could completely automate the entire process with AI, but my goal is to push myself to improve my basic English skills on this global selling journey.
Selofy.com
Beyond regular content updates, there are countless features to develop and UI/UX to optimize. And we can start stacking actual apps, whether web applications or Shopify apps.
In short, the foundation is built, and I've practiced so many interesting and fun knowledge during the process.
Independent Store
Haven't touched it much lately, just maintaining some passive income. Last month, I finally started replying to customer emails again. "Painful."
Paid Community
- Lite group 2 is full, group 3 is now open
- Max group has 496 members, need to think about how to upgrade and empower the Max group next
Shopify App/Web App
Since setting the flag at the end of last year, I finally officially started trying to develop Shopify apps this September.
Currently, except for the network issues that give me extreme headaches, with AI's assistance, it's actually much easier than I imagined. Of course, all this is premised on me understanding the independent store business myself.
Let me put it this way: dealing with network issues can drive you crazy. I don't know how to do it myself, so I struggled with it for 3-4 days. With real vibe coding, if you're ruthless enough, you could launch a small app within 3 days.

"First App" is for optimizing alt text. After this, I might develop and launch one every 1-3 months.
"Max Members" get free access to all app plans for one year. Lite members will also have corresponding activities or discounts.
Offline Events
In October, previous offline activity plans will resume and be upgraded. Everyone, please look forward to and follow "Haita Surfing".
Final Two Soft Ads
"Haita Surfing" is looking for real global sellers to create content and co-create offline events, whether in cross-border e-commerce or AI. "Speed speed."
Thanks to friends who also run communities or provide cross-border services and have opportunities to contact customers—you can contact me. There's a no-threshold CPA partnership for making money. Bring your business card, no reply without it.
By the way, vibe coding is really fun. Not making any money, but it's just fun. Very fulfilling. Not going out for National Day, grinding AI coding.
