Many sellers encounter this issue. When setting up automated abandoned cart recovery or review request emails, they show as failed. The prompt says customers are not in subscribed (email subscribe) status!
Today I'll teach you three tips to easily get customers into email subscribed status (please use reasonably, legally, and compliantly, respecting customer privacy).
Tip 1: Backend Settings
In backend settings - Checkout, enable these two options.

Pre-select settings to greatly improve customer subscription rates.
In abandoned cart automation, change Send to send to all abandoned carts.
Tip 2: Manual Individual Customer Settings
Enter any customer info you want to adjust, click the pencil - click Edit Marketing Settings - check subscription status.

Tip 3: Bulk Import Customer Settings
When using CSV bulk import, you can directly modify email subscription status to Yes in the CSV template.
