🌍 International

Shopify Managed Markets Now Supports EU Buyer Cancellation and Return Requests

July 16

Eligible EU orders automatically get the 14-day cancellation and return rules, and buyers can submit requests on supported Shopify pages. For Global Selling merchants using Managed Markets, this reduces the work of maintaining EU withdrawal rules yourself; return labels are still the merchant's responsibility. No need to turn it on, but it only applies to Managed Markets and eligible EU orders.

Managed Markets Now Supports Duties-Inclusive International Pricing

July 10

You can fold duties, import taxes, cross-market fees and currency conversion costs into your international price, so buyers see a more stable landed price. Good for international sellers using Managed Markets — fewer surprise charges at checkout or delivery; you need to check and enable managed pricing in Managed Markets, subject to region, market and fee rules.

Shopify Payments Multi-Currency Payouts Drop the 8-Currency Cap

July 27

You can add a bank account for every supported payout currency, no longer capped at 8 currencies. Good for sellers with a large international customer base — less currency conversion; only supported regions and plans, and non-base-currency payouts may incur fees. Add bank accounts one by one in payout settings.

Multiple Product Discounts Can Stack on the Same Item

July 15

When eligible, the same product can enjoy multiple product discounts at once — great for combining member pricing, campaign pricing and product promos. You need to design or review your discount rules deliberately and watch stacked margins; actual availability depends on discount type and eligibility.

Brazil CNPJ Validation Now Accepts Alphanumeric Formats

July 1

Checkout validation supports the new CNPJ format and no longer assumes tax IDs must be all digits. Brazilian sellers usually don't need to do anything; if your app validates CNPJ itself, developers need to drop the "digits only" restriction.
