A crashing week, with Prime Day, TikTok summer sales, and other big promotions squeezing our small store. Plus Google Ads suddenly not running properly.

Help, Google Still Won't Run

Starting Thursday, Google Ads suddenly crashed. Preliminary analysis:

1. Due to plugin adjustments, GMC deleted and re-uploaded feeds for two countries. Maybe the changes were too big.
2. Wednesday Google Ads realized standard shopping ads were underperforming, recommended PMAX, and optimization scores dropped. I followed advice and opened a PMAX campaign, but something wasn't set up right—said no products in ads, causing optimization score to drop to 22%.
3. Added FAQPage JSON-LD to all Shopify product landing pages.

But not being able to spend actually reduces anxiety. Before, money was flowing without orders, which was very stressful. Taking this opportunity to optimize and find new categories.

Meta Ads Actually Got an Order

Tried Meta ads 3-4 times before, mainly to practice and familiarize myself with Meta ad products and operations. Didn't expect conversions—my products aren't suitable.

This time tried Catalogue ads. Overall still not great, only got 1 order on the day of launch. Stopped when ROAS hit 2. But much better than self-edited creatives—at least CPC was acceptable (this ad type requires Meta Shop).

Content Creation for a Week! Recognized by Community

Thought I'd give up halfway or abandon immediately, but persisted for over a week. Total 9 pieces of content across platforms.

• 130 community members, 99% healthy, very active daily
• Many members participate in discussions and help answer questions
• Bilibili reached 200 followers
• Xiaoyuzhou has 15 subscribers

1. Learning about Amazon UK through community members. The barrier is actually the opportunity I need to try.
2. Consulting on UK company taxes/Amazon UK entity issues, very fruitful.
3. Spent a week learning Google Tag, finally understand it now.
