Single Week 1w+|Beware of Relaxation Anxiety: How I Broke Down During Early Global Selling Entrepreneurship. W29-30

This combo completely broke me down. They're always right no matter what, and I'm always wrong no matter what I do. Deep reflection on SOHO lifestyle and relaxation anxiety.

Fuji Rock | H Auul Review

Nothing to review for global selling, fam. Played for two weeks, did nothing, what's there to review? Hahahahaha. Just shipping orders, handling returns and refunds. So annoying - British people are returning way too much now.

After working for a year or two, my interest in music festivals dropped significantly. I think it's because when our lives are rich and colorful enough with multiple entertainment options, we won't crave music festivals and concerts as much as we did when we were kids.

Some Fuji Rock Tips

  • Doing Fuji Rock for just one day is too intense, fam. You definitely need homestay (or camping) + 3 days. But actually the most cost-effective option is RV, though that's a bit high barrier for domestic folks.
  • The latest show each day goes until 4 AM.
  • Mountain weather is changeable - sudden rain, sudden sunshine; hot during day, cold at night.
  • Bring lightweight moon chairs, moisture-proof waterproof mats for sitting and lying comfortably.
  • Security isn't strict, but don't be too blatant either. I searched everywhere about bringing alcohol. As long as it's not glass bottles, putting it in plastic bottles is fine.
  • Walking distance between stages is 5-15 minutes, wear appropriate shoes.
  • There's a parent-child interaction area where parents can take turns watching kids and watching shows.
  • Food and drinks inside are decent, each meal about 50 RMB, drinks around 10 RMB.
  • Fuji Rock venue is different from domestic music festivals. It's at Naeba Ski Resort in Echigo-Yuzawa, and Japanese ski resorts are different from Chinese ones too. Even though China occasionally has EDM festivals at ski resorts, it's definitely not the same vibe.
  • Overall, the venue is large with varied terrain, many stages, lots of experiences - mountains, water, lawns, even paid spa massage areas.
  • The whole Echigo-Yuzawa area you can think of as China's Chongli - multiple connected ski resorts. So it's mainly outdoor activities (winter skiing, other seasons hiking/climbing). If you're not an outdoor person, no need to save time for Yuzawa sightseeing.
  • Transportation: Tokyo to Echigo-Yuzawa shinkansen takes a bit over an hour. Earliest train around 5-6 AM. After arriving at Echigo-Yuzawa station, take the official festival shuttle to the venue. Same for return.
  • Camping folks can bring river trekking gear, clear the water area, and make sure there's no plastic bottles, fruit peels or trash - you can beautifully play in the water.
  • Can also bring yoga gear - there are small yoga groups every morning.
  • There are hot springs to soak in, but the queue is quite long (non-campers can't use them).
  • Rich variety of music styles; overall good audience atmosphere.

Personal Media

  1. Free group 9 opened.
  2. Max community did some entry-level infrastructure resource integration, and chatted one-on-one with some community members about benefits - quite unique in the industry. The goal is that for 0-1 startup, whatever problem you encounter or whatever you need to open, you can get corresponding official contacts and guidance.
  3. Didn't update free tutorials/shares for 2 weeks, still maintaining 10+ daily friend requests. Quite surprising.

Relaxation and Relaxation Anxiety

Some readers "envy" me - at this middle-aged straight guy age, still able to find joy in computer games and life rituals.

Of course, this envy needs quotation marks.

1. Relaxation

Assuming this envy isn't sarcastic.

Not exaggerating, this drive to explore life's joys through various activities has grown stronger since I started SOHO global selling.

Looking back at my psychology and state during employment, I realize it wasn't that I was unhappy, just that my life boundaries were very clear. I could only think within those boundaries.

Just thinking "ah, what should I do next weekend, what should I do next holiday" - and for longer term, "ah, I can start working out, I can start cultivating a new skill or hobby."

That's about it, right?

And from what I observe, being able to go out and have fun every weekend is already top-tier lifestyle rhythm for contemporary Chinese workers. Because I've also experienced work anxiety phases where on weekends I had zero energy to go out, just wanted to lie down. Not to mention some corporate slaves doing alternating six-day weeks or 996, they don't even have this condition.

But when truly SOHO, all constraints and boundaries disappear. The imaginable activity space becomes truly huge.

For example, before I could only watch RV/cycling travel vloggers on Bilibili as digital side dishes. But now if I want, I could pack up and leave next month.

For example, accidentally seeing digital nomads in Dali or Thailand. But if I want, I can make plans and leave anytime.

Of course, the only constraint is not enough money. Hahahahaha.

Hope our motherland becomes stronger and stronger. One day when we recall these years to our children, they might look at us like we look at our parents' generation: "My god, your lives were so bitter!"

Of course, SOHO's disadvantages are also observable - one person's output is extremely unstable.

2. Relaxation Anxiety

And assuming this envy is sarcastic.

Then we might not be on the same channel at all, and we can't convince each other about our understanding of life.

Other money-making entrepreneurship bloggers teach you how to desperately make money and cure internal friction. Only I, down-to-earth, share with you "SOHO global selling to some extent cured my electronic erectile dysfunction."

I just honestly share with you how I "degenerate" every day.

But what I want to say is, relaxation anxiety is a terrible thing.

Relaxation isn't giving up. It's actively choosing the lifestyle you want when you have choices. Relaxation anxiety is pretending to be relaxed when you don't actually have choices.
