The foundation for customizing filter functions is this official free app. Besides filters, it has other features—download and try it yourself.
Step 2: Add Filters
Need to briefly explain here.

Source refers to the source of filter content, with two types, both editable on the product edit page.
The red box is Product Organization on the product edit page, the yellow box is Variants on the product edit page. (For specifics, watch the video tutorial.)
Customize and add according to your actual needs!
Step 3: Adjust Filter Layout (Optional)
Enter theme editor, collection template, choose your preferred desktop layout (mobile can't be modified, only default).

More layouts or visual designs may require different templates, apps, etc.
