Insert Methods
Manual Insert
- Position your cursor where you want to insert a product
- Click the product card button in the toolbar
- Select "Manual insert product"
- Search for and select a product from your catalog
- The product card is inserted with image, title, price, and action buttons
AI Smart Insert
Available on Lite and higher plans:
- Position your cursor in the article
- Click the product card button
- Select "AI smart insert"
- The AI analyzes your article content and recommends relevant products using semantic vector matching
- Select from the recommended products
How AI Smart Insert Works
The app syncs your product catalog with vector embeddings. When you use AI smart insert, it performs semantic similarity search to find products that match your article content, even if the product names don't appear in the text.
Appearance Customization
The Appearance settings page lets you configure how product cards render on your storefront:
- Layout Style — Editorial, compact, or minimal
- CTA Action — Add to cart, buy now, or view product
- Button Styling — Width (full or auto), corners (rounded or square), text size
- Colors — Button color, border color
- Visibility — Show or hide price, description
Changes are applied via the Theme App Extension and take effect immediately on your storefront.
