Set up Max AI: Podcastify and publish your first storefront podcast experience.
Use this guide to import your first podcast, make an episode playable on the storefront, and generate your first Shopify blog draft.
Prerequisites
You need a Shopify store with app admin access. To publish blog drafts and use storefront blocks, the app needs the scopes requested during installation.
Quick Start
Open the app in Shopify
Install Max AI: Podcastify, then open it from the Apps area in Shopify admin.
Add a podcast
Go to Podcasts and add a podcast from an RSS feed or create a manual podcast. RSS podcasts can import metadata such as title, description, and cover image when the feed provides it.
Import or create episodes
For RSS podcasts, run Import now or Sync now. For manual podcasts, create episodes from the Episodes page and add audio when needed.
Enable storefront playback
In your Shopify theme editor, enable the Floating player app embed. At least one active podcast must have a visible episode with a playable audio source.
Add storefront blocks
Add the Episode card block where you want a single playable episode card. Add the Podcast surface block on index, page, or blog templates when you want a broader podcast area.
Link products and generate a blog draft
Open an episode, link a Shopify product if relevant, then generate a transcript and article preview. Save the result as a Shopify blog draft when ready.
