自省,拎得清,适度的自我PUA,反而让你很大程度上释怀。如果人人都像你这么想的,随便搬运抄袭,就能轻易赚钱,这个行业也就没什么可玩的了。

Good News
Overall, no particularly good news. So let me share some good news I forgot to mention last week: My main category keyword (3 words) finally got ranked after 9 months of building the site, with an average ranking of 43. I scrolled through 6-7 pages on Google UK and still couldn't find it. But still, it's worth celebrating. This serves as a reference for everyone. The keyword has 20k-40k monthly searches in Google UK.
Built the site in March, finally got ranked in December, averaging position 46. This is SEO. I see people dreaming about quick SEO success and explosive orders every day.

But as I've been saying since late last year, I have zero SEO anxiety anymore. After understanding the essence of SEO, I know that after putting in my maximum effort, everything else is up to time! That's it! Isn't this the simplest thing in the world? Isn't this the simplest traffic acquisition method for independent stores?
The reason newcomers still have SEO anxiety is simply because they have unrealistic fantasies and lack proper understanding of SEO.
The essence of SEO: After you put in your maximum effort, leave everything to time. This is the simplest yet most patience-requiring traffic acquisition method for independent stores.
Bad News
This week, I got anxious again. The reason was my site's conversion rate suddenly dropped from the usual 2-3% to below 1%. I started questioning whether there was something wrong with the site, the products, or the prices.
But after calming down and analyzing, I found it was due to changes in traffic sources. Previously, it was mainly search traffic with higher conversion rates; this week social media traffic increased, but social media traffic naturally has lower conversion rates.
So, the root cause of anxiety is often lack of understanding of the situation, not the problem itself.
Sources of Newcomer Anxiety
I've found that many newcomers' anxiety comes from the following:
1. Unrealistic Expectations
Many people are misled by marketing accounts into thinking global selling is "passive income" - that building a site means automatic money. When reality proves completely different, they start getting anxious.
2. Information Overload
There's too much information online - various tutorials, methods, and tools. Newcomers don't know who to listen to or where to start, so they end up doing nothing but worrying.
3. Comparison Mindset
Seeing others post their income makes you feel inadequate. But you don't know how much effort they put in, or whether what they're posting is even real.
4. Lack of Patience
SEO takes time, branding takes time, customer trust takes time. But many people want immediate results, leading to anxiety.
How to Avoid Anxiety
1. Accept Reality
Global selling is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It requires investment of time, energy, and capital. If you're not prepared for long-term struggle, give up now.
2. Set Reasonable Goals
Don't start expecting to make 10k+ monthly right away. Set small goals first - like getting your first order in month one, breaking even in month three, starting to profit in month six.
3. Focus on One Thing
Don't try to learn everything. Pick one direction, research deeply, and continuously optimize. For example, focus on SEO, or social media, or advertising.
4. Stop Comparing
Everyone has different starting points, resources, and abilities. Comparing yourself to others is meaningless - comparing yourself to yesterday's self is what matters.
5. Moderate Self-Reflection
Self-examination, being clear-headed, and moderate self-criticism actually help you let go. If everyone could easily make money by just copying and pasting like you imagine, there would be nothing worth playing for in this industry.
If you're the type who wants easy money, isn't willing to put in effort, and lacks patience, I beg you to give up global selling. You really won't get any results. This industry isn't for you.
This Week's Summary
- Continue optimizing SEO, consistently producing content
- Conversion rate dropped, need to analyze reasons
- Maintain patience, don't be anxious
- Focus on things within your control
