Weekly Revenue 10k+ | Store Redesign Complete, But Traffic Anomalies? W06-08 Report
Weekly revenue 10k+ | Store redesign completed with new third-party theme. The actual work took about 3 days, but then traffic anomalies appeared. Real experience sharing on store redesign and troubleshooting.

Good News
Store Redesign Completed Last Wednesday
Used a new third-party theme.
The actual execution didn't take long - settling down, learning the theme, and completing everything took about 3 days:
- 1 day learning
- 2 days building
If it's a familiar theme, 1-2 days is definitely enough for a typical small seller's redesign.
What really wastes time is "hesitation" and "procrastination".
Of course, you also need accumulated learning as a seller - you need to know what you want, what the module names are called, etc.
(Don't say anything - I'm about to start offering store design services!)

Bad News
Traffic Anomalies
I expected various situations after the redesign.
The first two days after completion were fine. Starting from day three, "traffic anomalies" appeared - this happened once last year.
Specific symptoms:
For example, Google Ads and Google Analytics both recorded 200 clicks, but Shopify only recorded 150.
Last time there wasn't really a specific solution - I just paused and restarted the ads, and it resolved itself after a few days.
No rush, take it slow.

Lessons Learned
About Store Redesign
- Don't over-hesitate: The actual execution time is far shorter than the hesitation time
- Learn before doing: Take time to learn theme features - sharpening the axe won't delay the wood chopping
- Stay patient: Various small issues may arise after redesign, troubleshoot one by one
About Traffic Anomalies
- Don't panic: This happens occasionally and usually resolves itself in a few days
- Compare data: Use Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Shopify data for comparison
- Check tracking: Confirm tracking codes are correctly installed
- Contact support: If the problem persists, contact Shopify or Google support
