Best Business Email for E-commerce? Zoho Setup Guide with Free Domain Reputation Tool! (34)
Complete guide to setting up Zoho's permanently free business email for your cross-border ecommerce store. Includes DNS configuration and domain reputation checking tools.

Previously, I introduced domestic Chinese business email service providers like WeChat Work, Feishu, and NetEase, such as: 3-Minute Guide to Setting Up Free Business Email with Feishu for Cross-Border E-commerce Stores (33). However, many friends are concerned about whether domestic email servers might be blocked, etc. Let's set up an international one this time! And yes, it still has a free version.

Step 1: Find the Right Entry Point
Don't go to the .cn domestic Zoho site. The domestic Zoho paid version is cheaper, but it doesn't have a permanently free plan (plus, some people simply don't want any domestic "environment" involvement).

Don't worry if you see the paid version first. Scroll down to find the permanently free plan entry point.

Step 2: Register Your Zoho Account
You can use any of your existing email addresses to register - it's just for creating your Zoho account. (Note: QQ email has been tested and cannot be used for registration)
Tip: It's recommended to use international email services like Gmail or Outlook for registration. Avoid using domestic email services like QQ Mail.
Step 3: DNS Resolution and Configuration
Friendly Reminder: If you're using well-known international domain registrars (like GoDaddy, etc.), this step will become extremely smooth. It can directly identify your domain registrar and provide various jumps and one-click automatic setup options.
I won't demonstrate all the normal DNS steps one by one! I've covered them in previous articles. Just follow the requirements and copy-paste each record to your domain registrar. Anyone can do this.

FAQ
1. Can I migrate to a different business email provider?
Yes, you still need to configure through DNS - delete the old records and add new ones. You can check Zoho CN's tutorials for specifics: https://www.zoho.com.cn/mail/

2. How do I check if my business email environment has any issues?
Use this free tool to check: https://mxtoolbox.com/
Pay attention to the red "Error" sections with X marks. If you see yellow warnings and you don't have time to research them or lack web technical skills, you can ignore them.

3. I have a red X for DMARC, how do I fix this?
