Select Languages
Choose which app-active languages to include in scheduled runs:

Only app-active languages can be selected. Add languages in the Languages page first.
Choose Resource Types
Select the content types to monitor and translate:
- Products
- Collections
- Pages
- Blog posts
- Navigation menus
- Shop policies
- Email templates
- Theme content
Start with one or two resource types to monitor credit usage before enabling all types.
Set Schedule
Choose how often Auto-Pilot checks for changes:
- Hourly — Best for high-velocity stores
- Daily — Recommended for most stores
- Weekly — Good for stores with infrequent updates
Consider your content update frequency and credit budget when choosing a schedule.
Configure Filters (Optional)
Refine what gets translated:
- Status filters — Include/exclude drafts or published items
- Tag filters — Only translate items with specific tags
- Exclude tags — Skip items with certain tags
Filters help control credit usage by excluding content you don't need translated.

- Errors only — Only notify if a job fails
- No notifications — Check History manually
Configure your notification email in the app settings.

Best Practices

- Use Filters — Exclude draft content and unnecessary resource types
- Review Regularly — Check that translations meet your quality standards
- Adjust Schedule — Balance freshness with credit efficiency
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Auto-Pilot not running | Check that it's enabled and languages are app-active |
| Too many credits used | Add more filters or reduce resource types |
| Missing content | Verify the content matches your filter criteria |
| Notifications not received | Check email settings and spam folders |
Auto-Pilot is designed to reduce the "translation backlog" as your catalog changes over time. It's perfect for stores with frequent content updates.
